WedgeWorks T Grind

We are excited that the WedgeWorks production group is slowly re-opening, in a safe and responsible way. This does mean we are building and shipping wedges, but following the necessary safety requirements to do so responsibly. Please be patient with your order, allowing 4-6 weeks for your custom WedgeWorks wedge to arrive. We wish all of Vokey Nation good health, safety, and great wedge shots.

The T Grind is a Voke original, inspired by work with a former Titleist Brand Ambassador, fine tuned by the master craftsman and Aaron Dill (@VokeyWedgeRep) The characteristics reflect the great hands of the inspiration; this is a low-bounce wedge with a narrow crescent surface. Unique from the L Grind, this wedge has a wider back flange, which creates unique playing characteristics and allows for a lower measured bounce, in addition to the narrow bounce surface.

Each week on Tour, Aaron Dill (Vokey PGA Tour Rep, @VokeyWedgeRep) and Will Harvey (Vokey European Tour Rep, @VokeyWedgeRep.Europe) are working with players to prepare for firm, fast fairway conditions. The T Grind was once in the college bag of Jordan Spieth and has recently returned this past year as a gamer 60°. The same is true for Justin Thomas. Justin tested a series of low-bounce options leading up to the Presidents Cup, ultimately deciding the T best fit the conditions and his game. To this day, it is in his travel bag, and he selects his 60° based on the week, the course, and the conditions. This wedge is uniquely positioned as a great links wedge, ideal for a shallow angle of attack in firm conditions.

"I’ve had players say they feel like they can hit any shot with the T – the combination of the forward bounce for low pitch shots and the grind for the soft control shots is something needed with the vast amount of shots required on links or firmer course setup."  -Will Harvey

The WedgeWorks T Grind is available in 58° and 60° lofts with 4° of effective bounce. Finishes include both Tour Chrome and Raw. The $199 price point includes custom stamping, custom ferrule, and custom shaft band of your choice.

*Raw wedges will rust.

What is the difference between the WW T Grind and SM8 L Grind?
Both grinds are considered low bounce wedges and require precise delivery, but the T Grind features a narrower forward sole (towards the leading edge) and more aggressive heel, toe and trailing edge grind compared to the L Grind which allows the leading edge sit closer to the ground especially on open faced shots. The WW T Grind has a wider back flange (trailing edge) compared to the SM8 L Grind’s narrow back flange (trailing edge).
What is the difference between the WW T Grind and the WW Low Bounce K Grind?
Both grinds are considered low bounce wedges but achieve low bounce with unique sole designs. The T Grind features an aggressive heel, toe and trailing edge grind with the bounce focused towards the leading edge, whereas the WW Low Bounce K Grind features a very wide, highly cambered (rounded) sole similar to the SM8 K Grind with the bounce spread across the entire sole.
What type of player would play the WW T Grind, WW Low Bounce K Grind and SM8 L Grind?

- A player looking for an all-around versatile low bounce wedge with a nice blend of width and bounce will like the SM8 L Grind.
- A player looking for the ultimate bunker club in a lower bounce option will like the WW Low Bounce K Grind.
